LEXUS RESETS OWNERSHIP BENCHMARKS WITH ENCORE PLATINUM AND COMPLIMENTARY CHARGING FOR UX 300e
Lexus will this month launch the UX 300e luxury compact battery electric vehicle (BEV) with the leading Encore Platinum owner benefits program1, along with complimentary home charger installation2 and complimentary on-road recharging3.
UX 300e customers will be able to borrow another Lexus when travelling interstate or to New Zealand, or if another Lexus best suits their requirements1 - and they can access complimentary valet parking passes1. JetCharge will install a complimentary charger in their home2, and they will enjoy three years of fast charging via the Chargefox public recharging network3.
These announcements will be complemented by a further ownership element set to be announced alongside pricing at the launch of the Lexus UX 300e later this month.
The luxury lifestyle brand is renewing the benchmarks for BEV ownership in Australia, to exceed the expectations of customers who have been eagerly awaiting a Lexus standard of customer care and owner benefits for fully electric vehicles.
The Lexus UX 300e joins the flagship Lexus LX, Lexus LC and Lexus LS with a three-year membership to the exclusive Encore Platinum owner benefits program.
Encore Platinum includes the pioneering Lexus on Demand, where members are invited to borrow another Lexus four times in their membership period, and for up to eight days at a time1.

From the convenient Lexus App, Encore Platinum members can book another Lexus for collection internationally at Auckland and Queenstown in New Zealand, or at the Qantas valet of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth airports1.
Encore Platinum members can alternatively book another Lexus for collection at a significant number of Lexus dealerships nationwide, for maximum flexibility.
Progressive UX 300e customers, as Encore Platinum members, can borrow the performance LC Coupe for a touring week away, a luxurious LS flagship sedan for an important business trip, or an LX SUV to explore Australia's alpine regions4.
The UX 300e will also be added as an available Lexus on Demand vehicle, ensuring that all Encore Platinum members are able to borrow the first Lexus BEV4.
Members will also be able to take their UX 300e to participating Westfield shopping centres nationwide or Chadstone shopping centre in Melbourne, where they can enjoy complimentary valet parking on eight occasions in their membership period5.
There is no need to book - simply drive your UX 300e in and present the Lexus App showing the valet parking passes remaining.
It is all designed to give Encore Platinum members more of their most precious commodity: the luxury of time.
UX 300e owners benefit even further with a Lexus-exclusive upgrade to five years of capped-price servicing. Each capped-price service for the UX 300e will cost just $295 (including GST)6.
As with every Lexus vehicle incorporating the Lexus Service Experience, the UX 300e can be collected from an owner's home or work, with a complimentary loan vehicle delivered to their door for complete ease and peace of mind.
Five years of coverage is also offered on the above-and-beyond DriveCare roadside assistance for a truly comprehensive ownership package7.
DriveCare can provide owners with around-the-clock breakdown assistance, towing, entry assistance, coverage for one-way metropolitan taxi fares up to $150 and more7.
All Lexus Encore members also have access to an expansive array of luxurious event experiences for up to three years, including golf days, dinners, track events and money-can't-buy experiences with ambassadors - reflecting the Lexus position as a leading luxury lifestyle brand1.

Complementing the inclusion of the Encore Platinum owner benefits program as standard, UX 300e owners will also be provided with charging solutions that ensure a smooth and flexible driving experience.
With a complimentary, professionally installed AC home charger, owners can rest while the UX 300e charges overnight2. From empty, the high-capacity lithium-ion battery fully charges in about 6.5 hours using an AC charger8, that can deliver a 360km9 driving range in certain driving conditions.
Lexus will also include two complimentary charging cables for AC charging, so owners are never far from a full charge.
UX 300e owners also have the option to upgrade to a home charger featuring additional scope of functionality, with a touch-display, Wi-Fi and Ethernet compatibility, smartphone app connectivity, and dynamic load management - which can avoid blackouts and surprise energy bills, measuring a home's live energy usage and automatically adjusting the charge to the UX 300e in harmony with the local grid.
Each charger is delivered and fitted courtesy of leading BEV infrastructure specialist, JetCharge, and includes a comprehensive 5-year warranty2.
Lexus is further offering complimentary access to Chargefox high-speed DC charging3, Australia's largest public recharging network with over 1,400 plug-in outlets at 770 charging stations across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, and Tasmania - all powered by renewable energy.
The UX 300e takes about 80 minutes to charge from empty using a DC charger8.
Reflecting the integrated approach to Lexus ownership and usability, Chargefox public recharging locations3 can be found via the Lexus App along with other Encore and Encore Platinum owner benefits.
Lexus Australia Chief Executive Scott Thompson said the luxury lifestyle brand was focused on delivering leading ownership solutions timed for the launch of the first Lexus BEV, the UX 300e.
"Lexus is renowned for leading ownership and guided by the Japanese hospitality art of omotenashi to ensure that we anticipate customer needs, appreciate all the finer details and develop authentic relationships with them," Mr Thompson said.
"Inspired by our unique heritage and those key principles, we listened closely to Lexus customers and committed to taking our Encore Platinum owner benefits program to the next level for the UX 300e - and there is still more to come."
The leading Encore owner benefits program was expanded in 2020 with the new Encore Platinum flagship tier. As Lexus maintained its commitment to frequent and further updates of the program, expansion of the Lexus on Demand program to New Zealand followed in 2021.
The expansion of Encore Platinum owner benefits for the UX 300e is the third expansion of the program in fewer than three years, and will be followed by a further announcement at the launch of the first Lexus BEV later this month.
