Lexus of MaroochydoreGolf Tournament
The sun was shining at Twin Waters as our Lexus Owners tee’d off at the 2022 Lexus of Maroochydore Golf Tournament. With over 120 golfers across the tournament and beginner clinics, it was a spectacular morning on the course. Many of our guests remembered the 2021 event in the torrential rain, so the sunshine was a welcome addition.
There were many activations across the course, including a ‘guess your speed hole’ where Sergeant Mark from PCYC Nambour measured our golfers drive speed on the 10th hole. We had the FlightScope measuring the ‘smash factor’ on the 1st hole, and the Leukaemia Foundation on the charity hole taking donations to earn teams some rewards on the 17th hole. A big thank you to our owners who donated $2,815 (and earned a few hole in ones) – where these vital funds could help provide 35 nights of accommodation free of charge as a ‘home away from home’ for regional or rural families who have to relocate to the city to be close to the life-saving blood cancer treatment for a loved one.

All golfers enjoyed a well-deserved seafood lunch before the awards were presented. Congratulations to our winners – Garry, Campbell, Linda and Scott, who will progress to compete against other dealership winners at the Lexus of Brisbane Group Golf Championships, playing for the Gordon Scifleet Cup.
Thank you to Twin Waters for hosting us again this year, and we look forward to seeing our Lexus Owners back on the course in 2023.
